Keekorok is located within Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve which is at an altitude of 1,617 meters above sea level. Accommodation is on a Full Board basis that includes morning tea or coffee, breakfast, luncheon, afternoon tea, and dinner. Luncheon boxes are available by prior request for guests taking all-day game drives.
Located in the very heart of Kenya’s fabled Masai Mara National Reserve, Keekorok, meaning motley abundance in the local Masai language, was constructed in 1962 on a choice eighty-acre site in an area of permanent springs and lush grassland.
The Masai Mara National Reserve is habitually teeming with wildlife. It is home to literally millions of plains game and their attendant predators particularly during the months from July to October when the migration of wildebeest and zebra reaches its northern apogee.
All kinds of animals and birds abound: 95 species of mammals and reptiles, and an astonishing 485 species of birds have been recorded in the reserve.
89 double rooms

Accommodation comprises stone-built bungalows with private balconies. All with on-suite bathrooms.
Most rooms overlook the Reserve and others look into a large garden. Every habitation has been tastefully refurbished during 2006 using matching wall colorings, fabrics, and linen.
